SUES 4th graders had the opportunity to learn about clean water issues around the world by James Leitner, founder of MissionCleanWater. What an incredible learning experience for us to find out how some parts of the world have limited access to such a valuable natural resource!💧
5th Grade TAG Presentation for the parents was amazing today!! Students told immigration stories of their families & shared traditional food samples! This was an incredible cultural event at the SUES!
Thank you for another year of giving back! Our Samsel Family, students, faculty, staff, family members, and friends came together once again to support the Ronald McDonald House by collecting 67 pounds of pop tabs! Let's keep it going over the summer-we'll be collecting next year
Our future artists have been hard at work putting all of their clay skills into action! Over the past few weeks, students have explored hand-building methods, learned how to shape and refine clay, and brought their creative ideas to life through choice-based clay projects.
The SUES hosted a Title I ASI Parent/Family Engagement event titled Lift Off and Zoom. Families learned about the correlation between literacy and STEM and students were able to make rockets, balloon cars, and hovercrafts.
This afternoon, our 5th graders had the opportunity to meet and learn from those that serve our community (Sayreville Police Department , EMS, OEM Hazmat, Fire Department) during the LEAD Fair. Ask your child what they enjoyed or learned about.
During library, students have been learning about the origins of Memorial Day. They read the poem, In Flanders Fields, and designed poppy flowers to honor the men and women who gave their lives in battle.
