As a result, they are expecting defense sales to surge more than 50 percent by 2031.

First concrete steps include sending second hand missile frigates to the Philippines to counter China in the South China Sea, launching joint electronic warfare and anti drone projects with Poland, and forming a new drone manufacturing partnership with Ukraine.

Japan has made it clear, it will not bow down to the Chinese aggression!

Instead, Japan has doubled downed it's efforts to strengthen it's defense capabilities.

After deploying missiles on Yonaguni Island, just 110 kilometers from Taiwan, the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force is preparing to install laser weapons on its combat ships.

"JAPAN MILITARILY THREATENING CHINA"

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told his German counterpart, Johann Wadephul, that Japan is posing a military threat to China, not the U.S..

China's claim was made amid escalating tensions following recent military incidents and Japan's stance on Taiwan.

Wang Yi also stated that Japan's actions and remarks were "entirely unacceptable," "directly challenge" the postwar international order, and "present significant risks to peace in Asia and globally."

Wang Yi called on Japan to exercise "greater caution" and insisted that it promptly stop what he referred to as "slander and defamation."

I don't think Japan will back down.....

Japan has made it clear that they are prepared to defend Taiwan.
