Still to this day, my favorite 9/11 movie ever made, with some of the most jaw-dropping endings I've ever seen in a movie. Whatever your thoughts on the subject matter, you can't deny that United 93 (2006) is a masterful piece of filmmaking. 25 years since the attack happened and 20 years since the movie came out, this scene still hurts like the first time I saw it. If you have not seen it, please do, at least once in your lifetime. It's a difficult watch, but it's one that I believe deserves to be seen and remembered.

Paul Greengrass had some insane balls for pulling this off. Rest In Peace to the heroes on this flight who fought back and chose to sacrifice themselves when they had the chance to save more lives on the ground 🙏💔 🥀

Can I just say… I despise this. Just two open wounds in downtown Manhattan that we failed to rebuild.

We could’ve built a beautiful 9/11 memorial and still built back the twin towers bigger and better than before. Instead we have these gaping holes, a monument to the weakness and incompetence of the people running NYC.

Honor the victims and REBUILD.

Mi mamá tenía planeado visitar las Torres Gemelas la mañana del 11 de septiembre de 2001

La noche anterior dejó puesta la alarma para levantarse temprano, pero nunca sonó, o no la escucho

Si esa alarma hubiera funcionado, probablemente yo no estaría acá jaja

Era la primera vez que viajaba a Nueva York. Había llegado el 22 de agosto y se quedaba en la casa de su mejor amiga, que recientemente se había mudado allá. Su vuelo de regreso era el 12 de septiembre

Durante el viaje recorrieron prácticamente toda Nueva York, pero dejaron para el último día la visita por dentro a las Torres Gemelas

La noche anterior habían salido de fiesta y se acostaron tarde. Cuando finalmente se despertaron, tenían decenas de llamadas perdidas de sus familiares, que sabían que esa mañana iban a ir a las torres

Prendieron la televisión y vieron lo que estaba pasando

Mi mamá pudo volver a Argentina varios días después, cuando se normalizo un poco la situación
