On today's Q3 2025 Business & Strategy Update call, Vertical's Chair, Domhnal Slattery, shared why Vertical is a unique and underappreciated investment story:
"On almost every valuation metric that matters, be it technology, capital efficiency, real tangible certification progress, or customers, Vertical outperforms."
We will be sharing our Q3 Business Update on the 4th of November 2025.
Hosted by our Chair, Domhnal Slattery and CEO Stuart Simpson via webcast on the 4th at 08:30 ET, which can be accessed via our investor relations website: https://t.co/MhN95iTgr0

Today is a big day for Vertical Aerospace.
We’re hosting our first Capital Markets Day at 2pm EDT, featuring insights from our leadership, board, and guests, including:
- Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, Founder of AirAsia Group
- Patrick KY, Former Director General of EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency
- Prof. Scott Galloway
Key highlights we’re sharing:
✈️ New manufacturing sites for VX4 aircraft and batteries, supporting certification and early production.
💰 Clear line of sight to certification in 2028 at a cost of $700m, thanks to our focused OEM model, cost clarity and UK/EU certification approach.
📈 Updated 2030 targets: 20% gross margins, >$100m positive operating cash flow, >225 aircraft per year run-rate by Q4 2030, and ~45,000 battery units delivered in 2035.
These updates underline Vertical’s clear path to certification, profitability, and leadership in the next era of flight.

After 250 miles of flight, collecting over 22 billion data points, we have completed Phase 3 – wingborne flight testing.
This stage has seen Vertical fly piloted sorties at speeds of up to 120 knots (222km/h) & altitudes of 2,000ft outside the boundaries of the flight test centre, as well as completing Europe’s first ever piloted wingborne flight of a winged eVTOL.
We will now move to the final test stage: transition, which demonstrates the VX4’s ability to shift seamlessly between vertical lift and wingborne flight - the defining capability of a tiltrotor eVTOL aircraft.
This progress reflects continued regulator confidence as Vertical advances toward type certification in 2028.
A sight that's becoming increasingly more common in the skies over the Cotswolds in the UK, our prototype aircraft being put through its paces during piloted test flights.

Higher, faster, further.
Last Thursday, our piloted VX4 prototype conducted its first wingborne flight — taking to the skies like a conventional aircraft, soaring over the UK countryside under real-world conditions.
Quiet. Efficient. Electric.
This is what the future of flight looks like.
Watch the moment for yourself 👇

From Delhi to Washington DC a series of fascinating interviews. @BBCHARDtalk still going strong, and illustrating the continued importance of in-depth long-form interviews, even though we’re being shut down at the end of March….🤔
The future of flight is here.
Every piloted flight test moves us closer to making electric aviation a reality. After completing the latest phase of flight testing, we’re moving into the most advanced stage yet.
We can’t wait to share more with you as we progress

Remembering the legendary Frank Zappa, who passed away on this day in 1993…
Here’s an awesome clip of an interview where he was asked:
“Do you consider yourself a great guitar player?”
