Let's Port a Unity Game to Your Own Engine: Part 1 https://t.co/WBjGZkZDkc

@Leiwaan I think I've seen 1 Chun Li in about 20 hours, it's all Ken

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

@watashi7_ System Shock 2 the GOAT

[Mike Acton @mike_acton]

If *hypothetically* if I was building a new kind of engine/tools (which might be deeply opinionated, not be trying to solve all problems for everyone simultaneously, and that could assist in solving hard problems without devaluing human expertise), would you want to join? DM me.

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

@oscar_coen This is definitely on my game dev bucket list

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

@Leiwaan 羨ましすぎる! Went for the first time this year, would love to go back to Enoshima

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

@pragmatism Been a weekly fixture for 6 years, not sure where else to go now for the level of critique they always delivered

@markkilborn But also it's an easy trap to get attached to the code you wrote. There's an ego problem, prioritizing the system you created over the end user's experience

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

@markkilborn My gut instinct is developers are hesitant to acknowledge bugs they know will require a big refactor to address, because they'd rather spend the shorter amount of time telling users how to workaround the issue than tackling the root cause (which may introduce new bugs)

@alexprevity Cheating a little https://t.co/xov1CGKBP4

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

@MaxHarchik Bought half of these over the holidays, hope to play them this year! Alongside Norco, Citizen Sleeper was another one that looked really interesting

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

@nadiaudio It's so depressing that we went straight from NFT bros to AI bros with the same gaudy tastes

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

@alexprevity Have you tried sentence based cards? I've not really used them before but thinking of switching my Anki method to sentence reviews as trying to guess a word in context seems more natural. There's some JLPT ones here that overlap the Genki vocab list https://t.co/K0T0ICoJKG

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

@watashi7_ The music was hype as fuck

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

@watashi7_ Maybe it's cos I had just finished 5 and found Giorno a bit bland but Joylne is easily my favourite JoJo

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

@BrunoDebug Thank you!

[Sam Mackie @SamuelGMackie]

Trying to harness the energy of this shock Japan win so I can pass the JLPT on Sunday
