First draft done 🧠
Going heavy on DEFCON targets this season, just having a bit of fun while getting stuck into the game.
Considering 🔄
O’Reilly ➡️ Pedro Porro
Garner ➡️ KDH
Spurs were having a really well planned-out summer transfer window, at first quick and decisive and then patient with their attacking targets. However, it's all finishing off in a bit of a frantic grab and go fashion, as it will for most clubs.
The Cody Gakpo situation has had a big domino effect in first Spurs wanting him but being usurped by City and then City in turn being unable to get the Dutchman from Liverpool so instead jumping across for Tottenham's next choice Iliman Ndiaye.
It means Spurs have had to drop down their wishlist and Kevin Danso asking to leave was another spanner in the works. I think De Zerbi and most fans would rather have kept him over many of the alternatives.
I just about get the Mudryk thinking as squad cover if, and it's a big if, De Zerbi can get the best out of him again after their Shakhtar time together, but it would only make sense if Spurs then had the option to sign him after a loan.
All in all, still a £400m Tottenham transfer window like no other, and there's still tomorrow. Who knows what deadline day might bring.
We've gone full 2012 QPR. This instance on signing from only within the Prem (and attempt loans from one of our fiercest rivals btw), is baffling.
Spurs have 35 scouts on the books. THIRTY FIVE.
Mudryk hasn't kicked a ball in two years.
Our window has been unbelievable no doubt, but ends with two signings that make you question whether ENIC have changed at all, or whether they're still the same deep down as they've always been.

SCR instead of PSR, everyone trying to boost revenue and the transfer market is absolute chaos 😂
Clubs throwing money around, players moving left, right and centre…
You’ve got to admit, it’s pretty exciting though 👀
@FplSonny@FabrizioRomano Richarlison holding up the swap deal and then the Gakpo news... just for City to hijack us is peak Spurs. I can't take deadline day tomorrow
FPL rookie season officially underway 👀
Drafting my team this week ahead of GW3.
Mistakes will definitely be made 😂 but it’s all just a bit of fun while I get used to the game.
