Background Story on Sentient : Some time ago, I had @sreeramkannan at my house in Dubai. We were discussing my ideas about how crypto can fix AI's centralization and safety issues and how @0xPolygon can play a role in shaping this tectonic shift for humanity.

I told him (requesting him not to make fun of me for being an AI novice) but what if AI models had loyalty to their creator communities? He didn't laugh. Instead, he asked a lot of questions and I explained to him my thought process. At the end he was like, OH OH OH, this could be huge.

He shared this problem statement with Princeton Professor @viswanathpramod (who is the co-inventor of Flash OFDM, the technology behind 4G wireless standard) and IISC Professor @hstyagi, who had been researching something similar already. Pramod said that this problem statement could give rise to a whole new branch in AI + cryptography research and called it AI native cryptography.

That research became @sentient_agi. It will be built on @0xPolygon Agglayer, and I will be helping them as a core contributor. This project is extremely ambitious and with model loyalty, it is trying to solve a problem that has never been approached from this direction. With this fundraise, Sentient already has some of the world's best AI minds joining it, and the AI team is getting pretty stacked with senior people from Google, Deepmind, and other top AI companies in the world engaged.

If successful, Sentient could potentially change the course of humanity's relationship with AI. Let's try to build and see how it goes.
