She was killed yesterday, just outside Kyiv, delivering supplies to a dog shelter that was without food for 3 days

The car she was in was targeted at close range

Yalanskaya stayed behind in Kyiv to volunteer as everyone fled around her

My daughter 9 broke down about the Ukrainians who have to leave their cats. How difficult would it be to flee with your #cat; it’s made this #war real to her, heart wrenching; seeing Ukrainians fleeing with their pets, never mind their elderly. THE HORROR. #Ukraine️ 💔💔💔
