unfortunately the misogyny in nerd culture makes me sceptical to criticism with women-led movies so I can't even be warned properly if the movie is actually bad
this is very good for your literacy btw
don't be ashamed to frequently google words you don't know, it's better to learn now instead of giving up
especially in an age where literacy rates are at an all time low
You need to experience more media than just animation.
I love animation. I hate how it’s degraded as a lesser art form than live-action and dismissed as kids stuff.
But a lot of animation fans don’t do themselves any favors by cutting themselves off from other forms of media.
On top of being funny, this movie is such a good way of introducing kids to the concepts of social inequality, prejudice, of how those lead to this idea of "evil" thats built upon, encouraged and nurtured by society rather than innate, how those at the bottom are pushed there
Last time “The day the earth blew up” was met with tepid box office despite everyone demanding it be released . It was the best looney tunes feature we’ve ever had; I’d hate for that to happen again.
This succeeding would embarrass a lot of executives.
@whojackal Nah, I don’t really think it’s insane to say that a joke that essentially boils down to “women expressing their emotions through music is cringe” is a little fucked but this app will never be ready for that conversation
They didn't need to recreate the story 1 to 1, but was something like this too much to demand 😭
Some of those decisions might have actually improved the film even so let me bitch lol
