So here’s what I’m learning:
The belief that I don’t know enough is stopping me from doing the thing that would actually teach me.
I can’t figure out who my writing is for until I write.
So I’m writing. Still learning. But moving: https://t.co/8hruz9fogs
“I don’t know enough yet.”
That’s the belief keeping me from writing.
It sounds reasonable like humility. But really? It’s just fear dressed up as responsibility.
I already proved this.
My first piece wasn’t written by an expert. It was written by someone living a pattern and making sense of it in real time.
That’s what made it real.
I caught myself researching ‘the best platform’ for a week. Taking notes on writing rituals. Learning everything except how to actually write.
Then I stopped and thought: What the fuck am I doing?
So I wrote this instead: https://t.co/AFNwMezAMi
The strategy that got me here is keeping me stuck.
I spent 5+ years as a delivery driver. Optimising routes, organizing parcels, turning chaos into flow. It made me great at my job.
Then I tried to apply the same approach to writing. Big mistake.
Optimising works when you’re inside a system you already understand.
But when you’re starting something new? When you don’t know what ‘good’ looks like yet?
Optimising isn’t strategy. It’s safety dressed up as progress.
If you incorporate these 3 Important Modalities of Awakened Doing Into Your Work:
Acceptance
Enjoyment
Enthusiasm
You can achieve, build, create, or make an impact in the world while completely at peace.
The truth is, most people have no idea how important these modalities are
This is one bad habit I had and how I broke it:
Playing the victim role, especially concerning my career.
Solution, taking responsibility.
Here are the results of taking 100% responsibilty:
Living with chronic depression is like carrying an invisible weight that doesn't seem to lighten.
Carrying a heavy bag full of past upsets, with no way of seeing any peace and freedom from these ruminating thoughts.
I'm here to tell you there is peace beyond with this 1 tip:
