It was a pleasure to welcome WellChild Patron, Prince Harry, to our Children's Hospital today as he met families, WellChild Nurses and staff who are transforming care for children with complex medical needs.

I’m sorry, but this whole situation is fucking trash.
The King. The UK government. The institution. The optics are all trash.
We’re talking about a British Army veteran, the founder and patron of the Invictus Games, saying he won’t bring his wife and children to the UK because of security concerns.
Think about that.
Veterans deserve better than this. The founder of the Invictus Games deserves better than this.
Next year, the UK is set to host the Invictus Games. Every host nation has a responsibility to provide a safe environment for the Games and everyone attending. Yet the conversation surrounding the founder’s own family’s security has become a story in itself.
That’s not something to celebrate. It’s an embarrassment.
And don’t tell me this reflects well on the King, the government, or the institution because, in my opinion, it doesn’t. It reflects like shit.
The whole world is watching this play out, and the message isn’t one of strength. It’s dysfunction. That’s fucking trash.
