you’ll get rejected and dumped and fired and you’ll fail at things you were sure about, that’s just the cost of being alive. the question isn’t whether it’ll happen but how quickly you can get yourself back to swinging at the next opportunity. every day you spend hostage to what already happened is a day you’re not creating what’s next. reset fast.
@Ibrahimifg i respect the initiative and the purpose behind it. but to guilt trip muslims in saying zakat that “makes you feel good for a night” is impertinent. no charity is bad charity if it’s helping the poor. whether it be a weeks worth of food or a days worth. right idea, wrong approach
you consume content about people doing the thing instead of doing the thing. their interviews, their processes, their behind the scenes - feels adjacent enough to the actual work that it satisfies the urge temporarily. then you close the video and you’re still exactly where you were, just more informed about how other people moved while you stayed still.
@DrHoenderkamp@MayorofLondon why are you looking at the negatives of some positive news? you cant just be happy that murders are down in the capital? it shows progress the met has made. im sure they will turn their focus to other crimes like they have done already. just being pessimistic for the sake of it.
@elicalebon Communists? Islamists? SuperWoke? my lord, you’re genuinely losing it. i know you’re foaming at the mouth seeing the events in Iran you horrible warmongering witch. one quick search shows the media covering the story - but ofc you have to lie as usual. go touch some grass !!
