But rent will obviously keep going up as your monthly mortgage payments goes down.

Surely my 30k that I put down on it dont account for that much.

And then during the same time as im paying off my home I could spend the same into the stockmarket or whatever as I would renting.

Im just in the process of buying an apartment rn. And if I wanted to rent that SAME apartment. I would pay AT LEAST the same on rent as I will on my mortgage.

Is this not the case in the United States? Is rent usually a lot cheaper?
