Room 9 had a visit from Mr. Dwight today. He is an entomologist. He shared all about beekeeping, information about bees and other insects, and also brought in a real observation hive! Our brave students even touched a live tarantula and learned how tarantulas protect themselves.

Room 8 enjoyed learning all about the Chinese New Year while creating dragon puppets, dancing and parading to traditional Chinese music, and tasting Chinese noodles, fortune cookies, Mandarin oranges, and other Chinese food.

Room 6 went on a bear hunt to see what they could discover. They went down the road, over the bridge, through the wheat fields, climbed up the tree, crossed the river, and discovered a bear cave. They made it back in time to have a nice picnic lunch with bear themed foods.
