Attended a meeting chaired by Shri @Govind_Gaude to coordinate responsibilities and allocate tasks for the organization of the Tripurari Pournima Festival 2023, in the presence of MLA Mayem Shri @PremendraShet and officers from various departments.

The event, scheduled for November 26th at Vithal Temple in Sakhali, will see the Department of Tourism and GTDC overseeing arrangements, including pandals, seating, and transportation. The Department of Publicity will handle statewide festival advertisements.

We look forward to hosting a splendid festival. Extending a warm welcome to all for a festive and blissful experience.

GMC's exceptional medical services not only saved lives, but they have also given a newfound hope. I want to share my personal experience when my father, former Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pratapsingh Raoji Rane, faced cardiac complications, he received treatment at GMC's cath lab. I want to express my gratitude to the doctors and medical staff at GMC at that time as well as today who tirelessly works for saving lives and spreading smiles.

GMC stands as a prime example of a government hospital where people from not only in India but abroad have also got benefitted from the health care facilities. I am elated to announce that with the new facilities, even the most complex cardiac surgeries can be performed with ease and at a low cost in GMC.

The community benefited from ABHA & PMJAY Card generation, general screenings (FBSL, RBSL, blood pressure, hemoglobin levels), and AYUSH checkups by an Ayush doctor. A huge thanks to our MLA and Health Minister of Goa, Shri.@visrane sir, for bringing these essential services right to our doorstep.

Participated in the Stakeholders Meeting to address our concerns regarding the proposal to designate 55 villages in Sattari as “Eco-Sensitive Areas”, in the presence of the Expert Committee from Delhi.

Declaring Sattari as an Eco-sensitive zone poses significant challenges for the development and progress in Sattari. Not only does it hinder future development prospects, but it also threatens the livelihoods of countless individuals. Many existing industries, which have been the backbone of the local economy, will face potential shutdowns, it would also affect dairy farming and farmers in Sattari, leading to unemployment and economic stagnation in the area.

Moreover, our people of Sattari are already fighting with the Alvara land ownership dispute. The proposed eco-sensitive designation adds another layer of complexity, making their struggle even more daunting. It's crucial to understand that while environmental preservation is vital, it shouldn't come at the cost of the well-being and sustainable growth of the local communities.
