You can have abilities go on the stack with reflexive triggers that contain the word ‘if’.

The kicker was increasing the number of sets each year. Two big changes with no settling in time.

@themanwong @fireshoes I’ve been jamming Synthesizer since OTJ/BIG. I’ve always ran a playset of Enigma Jewel. It means Repurposing Bay can be activated on T3. It also helps with playing and sac’ing Carrot Cake on T2. Crafting becomes more viable too.

@Metallix87 @SaffronOlive Yep totally agree. And therefore more tools for non-agressive strategies too. I think larger standard is great. They just need to adjust the pacing of sets and ban as and when need to maintain format health.

@Matej_Zatlkaj @SaffronOlive I really like having more sets in Standard. There’s way more capacity for different mechanics and archetypes to shine at the same time.

However, 6 sets a year is absurd. It’s hurting all parties. Even Wotc are fumbling with this aggressive pace.

Ban cards as and when.
