@GregAbbott_TX@joanhuffman Oh give me a break. You sure don’t seem to respect us when you’re not trying to use us to get a special session in to suppress voters. Shame on you.
@MagicalOverload I think the best tip I ever heard was if you have a 10 minute chore just do it. Just wash the dishes just fold the laundry. Don’t put it off.
Start small & don’t put more on your plate than you need to. I am a huge advocate for choice, but had to narrow some assignment options at first bc it was overwhelming. It’s okay to change things when you need to for yourself. Be brave, and let families know what you need. (End)
things to know: you have to think like a kinder teacher no@matter what grade. Repeat the directions. Visuals for everything. Make use of immersive reader or any other similar function in whichever LMS you use. 2/
Great things: kiddos who have school@anxiety are THRIVING. Your energy and enthusiasm really@make the difference, and connections are possible. Don’t try to make it in person when you are remote - make it something new and unique! 1/
What a year this one has turned out to be. I moved back to fourth grade ELA and volunteered myself as a Clear Connections teacher. It’s all proven to be pretty awesome. As you can see, my online teaching background is pretty sweet. I love how homey my classroom is.
Nuvia! Yesssss! I have seen this young lady grow and learn and she is so passionate about what she does. What a great addition to the teaching staff at Berry!
I love this. I’ve been thinking about utilizing one note this year with students for notebooks. Paper and pencil are so great, but with possibilities of back and forth with school to home, I want something with consistency for them...
My experience is that a T has to understand & have a GM themselves to make it happen in class. Most dont understand the theory and have do not apply it to themselves much less to Ss. You can’t teach skills you don’t have.
I'm interested in people's thoughts & am hoping this doesn't turn into a heated debate. I have recently seen a survey where the majority of people voted that growth mindset theories don't work. What are your thoughts and why? I'm interested in updating my understanding of this.
We are resharing this popular Tuesday Tip from last year.
It comes from a member of our Facebook group and shows how to create an effective check-out system for your Fountas & Pinnell Classroom™ Guided Reading Book Room. https://t.co/JA9drmQ1KS #TuesdayMotivation#FPLiteracy
