A few super powers you can have as a founder for your team:
1/ Being intensely loyal
2/ Cutting out politics
3/ Enabling fast career advancement
4/ Quietly backfilling weaknesses
5/ Being truly grateful
One huge mistake that many managers make is to tell a senior member of their team:
“<XYZ> is entirely your decision. I am here to serve you. I will defer to whatever your decision is here.”
This happens at all levels e.g. a Founder/CEO delegating “product strategy” to the CPO.
The longer you work in business, the more you realize how terrible the consequences are of artificially-loose monetary policy. In the end, everyone loses.
The #1 sales reps often end up being the #1 best VPs of Sales
But they almost never make it in one leap, in one step
You gotta be a team lead, a director, and at least hire a small sales team yourself first
Almost never see Top AE straight to VP of Sales work
Steph Curry makes it look easy. He can hit practically any shot on the basketball court, his Golden State Warriors are crushing it, and his kids always look like they’re living a perfect life. https://t.co/nwXWr6vmbn

With four championships in eight years, the @Warriors leave no doubt of their place as one of the NBA’s greatest dynasties. Congrats to Finals MVP Steph, Draymond, Klay, Coach Kerr and the rest of Dub Nation for such sustained excellence.
San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey said he entered the 2021 season thinking he might retire when it ended, leaving open a possibility to keep playing. A great year and 107 wins weren’t enough to keep him in uniform.

Dear @BusterPosey, you are a rare bird.
You have what most of us MLB players never did, true perspective. You didn’t bow down & worship the game of baseball as if it were your God. In the eyes of @SFGiants fans, you walked on water but to you, it was just a game you loved to...
