Last weeks courtesy visit to His Excellency, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State @followlasg , was not only an honour but a powerful reminder of the influence we each hold , both online and offline.

His Excellency’s message on using the media space for positive impact truly resonated with me. In a time where social media shapes perceptions and possibilities, it’s refreshing to see leadership that values intentional storytelling and responsible digital influence.

One moment that particularly stood out for me today was meeting a bright secondary school student named Sharon. She shared that she’s contesting for Head Girl in her school and was preparing for her manifesto. We had a lovely chat about leadership, and I told her how I once served as Head Girl too. It was a wholesome reminder that impact starts from the smallest spaces, and that the next generation is always watching, learning, and daring to lead.

As we anticipate Bodex Social Media Hangout 6.0, themed “Social Media & A.I. Influence: Transforming Yourself, Services & the Society,” I’m inspired to keep using my voice and platforms to influence with purpose, authenticity, and heart.
