The world of video games is a harsh environment.

Will does an insanely good job reviewing sim racing hardware, and doesn’t deserve this kind of bullshit.

Sadly he’s not the only one. There are entire discords of trolls who cannot wait for “popular” figures in sim racing to say something they don’t agree with. And my God have I been on the receiving end of those for years now.

I cannot blame Will for wanting to pull the rip cord. I’ve been there, especially when I was YouTubing. Just wasn’t worth it for the vocal minority to spoil my day/week.

These days I focus on the enjoyment of the work and *literally* ignore the haters. Staying away from discords and comment sections.

It made a huge difference and I rediscovered my passion for creating work that people enjoy using/consuming.

They don’t deserve to be in your headspace @_boostedmedia - fuck the haters.
