Transparency Matters: Why Creators Deserve Clear Answers

Imagine working at a company for months, doing your job consistently, following instructions, and helping the company grow.
Then one day, your manager tells you:
"Your salary has been permanently suspended because you violated a company rule."
Naturally, you ask:
"Which rule did I violate? Please tell me so I can understand what happened and fix it if I made a mistake."
But instead of giving a clear answer, the manager simply replies:
"Read the rules and regulations."
You read them.
Still no answer.
You ask again.
The response remains the same:
"Read the rules."
This is exactly how many creators feel when their Revenue Sharing program is suddenly suspended.
No specific explanation.
No evidence.
No clear policy reference.
No meaningful appeal process.
Just a generic message telling creators to read the rules.
The issue is not enforcement.
Every platform has the right to enforce its policies.
The issue is transparency.
If a creator has genuinely violated a rule, they should be told:
What specific rule was violated.
Which content triggered the action.
Whether the violation was automated or manually reviewed.
What steps can be taken to resolve the issue.
Without that information, creators are left guessing.
They spend months building an audience, creating content, and contributing to the platform, only to lose monetization without understanding why.
A healthy creator ecosystem is built on trust.
Trust requires transparency.
Transparency requires clear communication.
Telling creators to "read the rules" is not a substitute for explaining what actually happened.
If platforms expect creators to follow the rules, creators should reasonably expect platforms to clearly identify which rule was broken when taking serious actions such as permanent revenue-sharing suspensions.
Fair enforcement and transparent communication are not privileges.
They are the foundation of trust between a platform and its creators.
