As with many elected officials I protected for nearly two decades as a police officer, my interactions with him were limited, I do remember when he and I were alone in a elevator and he pretended he didn’t know who I was after my congregational testimony. I will never forget his betrayal to me and my colleagues.
These Ukrainians are remarkable; they make me proud to be a human being — which is precious right now looking at our leadership.

“When socialism finally came to America it wasn’t the lefty, Scandinavian version with universal health care and free college. Oh no. Instead, we got a command economy à la Chinese communism and it was ushered in by the right.” https://t.co/dpMaT5DP7N
For three years, former CEO of Overstock, Patrick Byrne accused @HunterBiden of treason and linked him to a terrorist attack.
Yesterday, a federal judge - Republican appointee - found that every one of those claims was fabricated. The Court described Mr. Byrne as not a credible person.
This decision affirms that the rule of law still exists in this country.
The judgment includes $1.7 million in punitive damages to be paid to Hunter Biden and that is the floor, not the ceiling, of what Mr. Byrne owes for his conduct.
If Mr. Byrne repeats any of these claims, we will see him back in court.

Lawyer for Hunter Biden
Imagine being the Republican party and trying to hide the fact that one of your Senators died to avoid holding a special election and then a totally different Republican Senator died from karma
@king_cyrus12@LindseyGrahamSC Too bad he didn’t stand for his own country supporting a man who trashes the Constitution on a daily basis . He knew exactly the danger a Trump presidency poses for our country and supported him anyway. Traitor.
The real question is why did King Charles take away FROGMORE Cottage from Prince Harry & his wife Meghan ? And then offer them a room in Buckingham Palace ?
This was a wedding gift by Prince Harry's Grandmother Queen Elizabeth.
It's all so backhanded & evil.
#PrinceHarry#Spare
So Prince Harry has sued 3 news organizations in the UK. He won the first two and the judge in this last case — was the lawyer representing the media houses in the first 2 cases he won?
Someone tell me I've read the wrong thing because what in the conflict of interest....
I have no clue what is up with Mitch McConnell. I wish him good health. But I know this: he grew the alligator in the bathtub that eventually escaped . He could have ended Trump politically.
In exchange he got a few more years of power… and a party of people who hate him and call his wife a Chinese spy.
Hope it was worth it
Trump destroyed the teams at DOJ dedicated to going after kleptocrats and oligarchs like Putin, right off the bat. It was the first of many favors. Trump/Russia is no hoax. https://t.co/KspmgA2mec
Jack Smith: I'll give you an example from from my life. I resigned as special counsel. I know I need to get a lawyer because the president has said he wants to jail me for doing my job. And so I retain lawyers, as soon as that becomes public, the president and the justice department target that law firm, and they do it because they don't want me to have counsel. They don't want to have anyone represent me…
Chris Cuomo (of all people) just effortlessly unmasked Tucker Carlson as a Russian propagandist.
Cuomo: “I'm a journalist. I'm not allowed into Russia. Why are you allowed in?”
Just watch how Tucker squirms.
Benjamin Netanyahu "needs a war" to stay in power, argues Ami Ayalon, former director of Israeli intelligence service Shin Bet. He tells me why he thinks the Israeli prime minister may be "sacrificing the future of Israel" in his pursuit of eternal war.
@SenWhitehouse I don’t believe there is kompromat, I think it’s plain and simple idolatry (and idiocy). Our President admires Putin and Putin is a KGB master puppeteer.
Beyond the staggering moral dimensions, the wholesale destruction of USAID in the blink of an eye last year will live as one of the worst foreign policy and national security blunders in American history.
@SamanthaJPower lists just some of the tragic, immediate costs and consequences below.
Longterm, it will mean a world less stable and free--with more violence and conflict; disease, pandemics and mass migrations. Neither oceans nor the military can shield the U.S. from the impacts.
AND this shameful and foolish abandonment will result in less respect for, and allegiance to, the United States of America.
ZELENSKYY: I thank everyone who has expressed condolences to our state today, who hasn't remained silent, and who condemns Russian terror.
When Ukraine applies its long-range sanctions, everyone can see that they're directed against specific facilities that help Russia wage war.
First and foremost, against oil facilities, military production sites, and other critical targets.
Today, a Russian oil refinery was also hit. Our goal is to force Russia to realize that peace is necessary.
Carney: “We, the Germans, the UK, the French all are of the view that the tide has turned... Putin is going to lose.”
The US, notably absent from the list.
Disgusting abdication from us, but proud of our allies for holding the line on liberal democracy.
