@snehalchokshi@AMP86793444 It's all about the perceptions. Last winter's tour of NZ and Aus had damaged their reputation so much that they were mocked and ridiculed for having a drinking culture among other disciplinary issues.. To get caught up again, just after the 1st Test of the reset is damning..
@michaelscottfc You stood by them? Really? Pehle boycott ka natak kiya? Fir jab pant gilli ho gayi, tab aa gaye majeed humiliate hone dobara India se.. If you had boycotted the World Cup entirely, that would have been "taking a stand" .. you couldn't even keep your own words..
@AITCofficial Just one election loss and look what has become of your party.. and yet your so called leader has the guts to talk about the party being of grassroot cadre.. in reality, yours is a bunch of hooligans and mafia which is slowly being dismantled now
@Incognito_qfs Only building muscles is not being "fitness enthusiast" I am sorry.. Om Shanti to the departed soul .. take care of your cardio all those "fitness freaks" out there
@thehawkeyex Absolutely.. Himanta was Tarun Gogoi's right hand all those years in Congress.. but when the time came for him to lead, they chose Gaurav Gogoi.. Congress doesn't learn
@sagarikaghose@MamataOfficial You should at least feel the pulse now, seeing the comments here.. Your didi built an army of goons who threatened, intimidated and even killed those who dared to challenge them..
@sagarikaghose@MamataOfficial Arrogance, intimidation, threats , cut money , lawlessness, joblessness, favouritism, yes! We Bengalis have seen them all . The last nail in the coffin was RG Kar .
Rahul Gandhi tweets at 9:58 PM that elections have been “stolen.”
From where? Which time zone? Which foreign cafe? Which university auditorium? The man cannot tell you the name of three Assam districts but he can tell you with certainty that 100 seats were “stolen” in Bengal. Astonishing clairvoyance for someone who treats Indian campaigns as a stopover between London and Cambridge.
Let us talk about who actually showed up.
PM Modi. 20 hour days. Two states a day. Rallies in 44 degree heat. Booth level reviews at midnight. Sleeping on flights.
Amit Shah. State after state. District after district. Sitting with karyakartas at 1 AM. Memorising every constituency by name.
Rahul Gandhi. Foreign tour. Selfie with diaspora. Lecture on “Indian democracy” delivered from a country that is not India. Flight back. Scripted tweet. Flight out again.
This is the Congress “campaign.” Outsourced to airlines.
And when the verdict comes, the same recycled tantrum. EVM. ECI. BJP. Stolen. Four words on a loop since 2014. The voter has heard it so many times the voter no longer flinches.
Rahul, understand what you actually said tonight.
When you call the Assam mandate “stolen,” you are calling every Assamese voter a liar. Every Bodo voter a fraud. Every tea garden worker a stooge. Every woman who voted for Orunodoi a fool. You are sitting in your bungalow, untouched by their lives, and telling them their vote was fake.
They will remember.
Now look at what the voter handed you.
West Bengal. 2 seats. TWO. The party of Nehru and Indira reduced to a number you can count on one hand with fingers left over.
Assam. 19 seats. Of which 18 are Muslim candidates. EIGHTEEN OUT OF NINETEEN.
That is not a “secular Congress.” That is a Congress that has been politically ghettoised by its own bankruptcy. The Assamese Hindu does not trust you. The tribal does not trust you. The tea community does not trust you. The Bodo does not trust you. Even the Bengali Hindu of Barak Valley does not trust you. You have been left with one demographic vote bank and you have the audacity to call the verdict “stolen.”
The voter did not steal anything from you, Rahul. The voter took something from you. Their permission to speak on their behalf.
They took it because they remember Pawan Khera’s forged documents. They remember Kharge’s silence on Zubeen. They remember Singhvi’s cash. They remember the dynasty’s contempt for everything Assamese, everything indigenous, everything that does not bow to 10 Janpath.
You did not lose to BJP. You lost to the Assamese voter’s memory. You lost to the Bengali voter’s exhaustion. You lost to a country that has finally read your file.
Chunav chori, sanstha chori the only thing your party has stolen is its own future.
The mandate is the people’s.
Sit down.
in 2021, there was massive violence in bengal before and after the poll. everyone criticised central govt for lack of security forces.
this year, there was almost ZERO violence after so many decades. now, the same people are questioning govt for sending too many forces.
gazab topibaaz log hain yaar 🤡
