It’s bittersweet when you realize yesterday was probably Freddy’s last start as a Brewer.

I’ve never seen a happier guy so grateful for the opportunity, the fans, the organization, what the city of Milwaukee did for him and his family. He was always smiling with a positive outlook on everything.

I am so thankful to have watched him grow over the years into the stellar starter he is now. I’ve never met such a nicer person in my life.

Whatever happens, I just hope @FreddyPeraltaRD knows what he did for us will not be forgotten. We love you ❤️

Sal Frelick made an effort to take pictures with so many fans during the celebration tonight. As he walked along the warning track, he made sure anyone and everyone who wanted a picture, got one.
