Oh I’m devastated to read this. Kirsty was a wonderful human being, her star shone so brightly. She was unfailingly kind and supportive and I’ll forever cherish the meandering chats about politics, the importance of science and life in general on her visits to Edinburgh. 💔
My heart has shattered into a million pieces. My best friend, my love, my wife @KirstyDuncanPhD left this world, peacefully, surrounded by love. No words could ever describe the impact she has had on my life. Kirsty, I love you to the moon and back, a million times over. ❤️❤️❤️
I remember watching my first World Cup in 1990 while living in Curaçao. Absolutely thrilled to see them qualify for their first ever World Cup, the smallest country ever to do so!! With Scotland & Holland also through, my loyalties may get tested…🏴🇳🇱🇨🇼 https://t.co/SM0tEbQOF8
Gavin is exactly right. Badenoch & Farage won’t cut energy bills by shackling us to fossil fuels.
The answer is to decouple electricity and gas prices.
Hi @edinhelp, overflowing litter bin on Craighall Road first reported on Monday is still overflowing this evening. Is there a problem with pick ups on Craighall Road? Other bins looked full too.
@edinhelp looks like the litter bins all along Boswall Parkway and surrounding area were missed recently, now overflowing so need collection and street cleaning asap pls.
@mikejwhelan@TheCancerSutra Michael, as a parent of a child who went through this, much of this rings very true. Treatment was hard but the aftermath was much more difficult in ways I hadn’t anticipated.
Unbelievable that bottom trawling is still allowed in the UK’s marine protected areas. It’s extremely destructive for marine life and should be banned in MPAs #ocean https://t.co/SLTDHTGaoN
This is thuggery from Trump and Vance, plain and simple.
They are bullying the brave true patriot Zelensky into accepting a deal which effectively hands victory to Russia. Unless the UK and Europe step up, we are facing a betrayal of Ukraine.

“The carbon footprint of a long-delayed new "green" ferry will be far larger than the 31-year-old diesel ship that usually serves the route”.
LNG comes from Qatar and US, is trucked up from Kent and emits methane which is 28x more polluting than CO2 🤦♀️
