the jade of all hongyuan, a gift to its leaders like none other. one of the wealthiest men in the city with everything he could ever ask for, but he never asked once, for he forgot how to ask, for he forgot how to ask what does hongyuan need... so he could never find that answer.
@th3artofwar_ but there is a twist to this duel, for the new king is a cowardly man. what do you think the king did? what did the new king do to ruin everything?
@th3artofwar_ and the reason this duel was set up in the first place is that the sons betrothed had been killed, killed by her own sheer madness, which was attributed by the masses as the son's doing.
@th3artofwar_ he had used this gem to summon a ghost of his deceased father, in which he asked him first "O father, what had actually happened to you on that night?" and the answer he got was terrifying.
@th3artofwar_ but the son never took action, he never swung his broadsword at his uncles neck like he wanted to so badly. but why? no clear answer is known, even to me, as only such an answer could come from the mad man himself!
@th3artofwar_ his betrothed realized he no longer cared for her the same as before, his mother was cornered by him and frightened when he started rambling about the ghost he saw, and worst of all he had set up a play, a clear reflection of his fathers death simply to taunt his uncle.
@th3artofwar_ with this knowledge he returned home with a sudden wrath unlike before, replacing his solemn behavior. he stayed in the castle walls for months, and in that time people started to notice how much more erratic he had became
@th3artofwar_ the son's uncle, who is the kings brother had poisoned him in his sleep! it twas all a rouse to claim the throne for himself, which is very common for nobles in X corp. but it hurt the son so nonetheless.
@th3artofwar_ Of course the third effect varies depending on how compatible you are with the relic, but even if you were perfectly attuned it would still haunt your mind.
ah but tis a tale filled with much tragedy, for not only he, but all his family died on that day.
the son was a wealthy noble, a prince of sorts, with his father the king. there was an issue however, the king had in fact perished due to circumstances that were vague at best.-
@th3artofwar_ After he and his team had actually identified it as a relic, the son used it himself. here are the stones powers three: it allows you to summon a "ghost" of someone you once knew.
@th3artofwar_ It twas a gem of sorts of a dark shade, if you looked close enough it almost looked like it was leeching off the light touching it in fact!
@th3artofwar_ Ah thank you friend for the compliments, and yes he did find a relic! Though it is quite unlike any relic you could have imagined, for not even the son thought it contained any power at first!
