I’m still learning all of this myself.
But one thing I know:
You don’t need to be perfect to start building your future.
You just need to start.
♻️ Repost this for someone who needs to read it.
🧵 7 things I wish I understood earlier about building a career online.
Nobody is coming to save you.
But the internet has made it possible to learn skills, build an audience, find opportunities, and make money from almost anywhere.
Here are 7 things I’m learning 👇🏽
7. You don’t need to have your entire life figured out.
You just need to know what you are working on next.
One skill.
One project.
One opportunity.
Then repeat.
Small consistent actions can completely change your life.
6. You need to put yourself where opportunities can find you.
Learn skills.
Post your work.
Talk to people.
Build relationships.
Send proposals.
Sometimes the opportunity is not that you lack ability.
People simply don’t know you exist yet.
5. The people you admire online were once beginners too.
You are seeing their results.
You are not seeing the years of confusion, rejection, failed attempts, and learning that came before it.
Don’t compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 20.
4. Being broke can make you feel like you are behind.
But your current financial situation is not your identity.
You may be struggling today and still be building something that changes your life tomorrow.
Keep learning.
Keep improving.
Keep looking for opportunities.
3. Your phone can be a business tool.
You can learn.
Write.
Edit videos.
Create content.
Build an audience.
Find clients.
You may not have the best equipment yet, but you can start with what you have.
Improve your tools as your income grows.
2. A skill is more valuable when you can prove it.
Saying “I can edit videos” is not enough.
Show people what you can do.
Create sample videos.
Build a portfolio.
Share your work online.
Proof beats promises.
1. You don’t need to know everything before you start.
Most people wait until they feel “ready.”
The truth is, you become good by doing the work repeatedly.
Start with what you know.
Improve as you go.
@carter8f She don carry another story come again after she said no man has ever asked her for money
Why this f**lish woman Dey to like this now
Stop passing your pain on the upcoming generation
We live in a world where it seems like only the women are diverting to their “light” or what they call their light, while the men are just watching in total dominance and being nonchalant, like these guys won’t amount to anything. 🧵

But these guys are pushing on a lot.
Imagine a woman saying a man with nothing is worthless, but when a man says a woman is a commodity, he gets attacked for it.
Maybe let’s try to level up and get on the same page with total brutal honesty. 🧵
