Congrats to 2026 U.S. Open champ Wyndham Clark. I started at the Santa Monica Outlook the same week as his late, wonderful, dynamic mother Lise Thevenet, who had just been crowned Miss New Mexico. The only person I have ever worked with whose child went on to win 2 majors.

The latest @UofSC star with Virginia ties: our granddaughter from Chesapeake, who starts in August! I credit @dawnstaley (UVa) and @CoachSBeamer (VaTech) for stirring the inspiration to move South, and great parents.
