This morning we had a visit from the lovely local author Dinah Mason Eagers. She read her beautiful books "At the bottom of Dudley's garden" and "On top of Dudley's pond". The children loved the stories and had lots of interesting questions for Dinah.

We had a wonderful day on Friday when @bptewkesbury visited our school. The children created some amazing treasure chest and prayer pebbles. We even celebrated with a Candlemas service at St Kenelms in the afternoon. @TheCCT

Here at Sapperton school we are preparing for our harvest festival. These amazing pumpkins were grown by our gardening club in the summer.

Fantastic effort from all our children who took part in the cross country at Kingshill yesterday. We had some great individual results and finished 1st overall in the Y3/4 girls team event.

Today the school council asked everybody to dress in yellow and bring a £1, to support one of their chosen charities the Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity.
This charity brightens the lives of children who are living with serious or life-limiting illnesses.

Today we had our Geography Day followed by a Cake Sale to raise money for some new camera equipment for school. Thanks to everyone who kindly donated.

Yesterday, we celebrated the harvest at St Kenelms with the whole school and many parents and friends. It was our first time for almost two years that everybody was together and it was great!
