@omar_quraishi Gulf airlines is like Daewoo in Pakistan. You travel LHE-ISL route in luxury buses, and LHE-KPK routes (PSW, MDN, SWT etc) in decades old w/o AC kathara buses.
@LegalAdvisour Typical Bollywood scenes when villain used to rape the hero’s sister in front of one thousand people and people would only watch those scenes, without uttering a single word or physically stopping the violence. Today’s India is like a Bollywood’s mega set. Sharam ki baat ha.
If they’re in a bad mood, it feels like they can offload you without a second thought.
That uncertainty is what makes the whole experience so fuuking stressful. You never know what you’re going to face until you’re standing at that counter.

I’ve traveled extensively around the world over the last four years. I have active visas for the USA, Shenzhen, Bangladesh, and China, and yet, every time I have to clear Pakistani immigration, it gives me fucking chills.

The most frustrating part is the unpredictability. You can have a solid travel history, valid visas, genuine documents, and every intention to travel legally, but at the end of the day, it can still feel like everything depends on the officer standing in front of you.

@NAlShaikh@iihtishamm Sir, I work with the Spanish clothing giant Inditex. Our business meetings are regularly held in Dubai, and attendees from all countries are welcome—except Pakistanis. Many of us hold valid US, Chinese, and Schengen visas, yet we are still barred from entering the UAE.
You provide, you care, you stay loyal, yet you’re met with suspicion, control, and daily emotional exhaustion. Emotional abuse has no gender. Men suffer too—and many suffer in silence.

People often talk about toxic husbands, but toxic wives exist too.
Imagine being constantly criticized for watching Netflix, listening to your favorite podcast, meeting friends after months, traveling for work to Lahore, or simply working alongside female colleagues.
Being asked to distance yourself from female little cousins you helped raise, made to choose between your wife and your mother, and feeling that nothing you ever do is enough.
@Nabeel__123@salarzai_ What are these sections and articles, brother? We were taught algebra, useless theorems, East-West Pakistan’s separation, and mediocre Urdu stories—but nothing about law or taxes. As tax filers, we’re clueless. And the FBR website? It practically needs a PhD to navigate.
@KasimGillani@IamAamirAly Mobile phones are comsidered luxuries, but personal cars under 1800cc aren’t. Peak clownery by the government and the CSS bureaucracy. If 1 person pays Rs.100 PTA tax, revenue is Rs.100. If taxes are halved and 10 more people comply, revenue becomes Rs.1,000. How is that a loss?
@KasimGillani@KasimGillani, if someone was not paying tax at 200k, this change won’t make them pay PTA tax at 186K either. You gave up too quickly. Thank you for nothing. 10 months of waiting and support, and you came up with this. Speechless!
@KlasraRauf@KasimGillani PTA tax was one of Imran Khan’s greatest blunders. An even bigger blunder is that the entire Parliament has been unable to challenge the bureaucracy and repeal such a draconian law that continues to burden the country’s youth.
