Not a fan of @NBCOlympics coverage of the parade of nations/athletes... constant talking and commercials, cutting away from showing the athletes and their outfits. These athletes, especially from the smaller countries, deserve more. Disappointed.

Solar eclipse in Halfmoon, NY; just over 97% coverage. High clouds that moved in made for some hazy photos but a amazing experience nonetheless. The 10+ degree temperature drop and dimming light (& the mob of mosquitoes that came with it) were moments not to forget.

The Severe T'storm that went through Clifton Park between 330 and 350pm produced some minor damage....tremendous lightning. And a Funnel Cloud(340pm)

@NWSAlbany These were the cloud formations in Halfmoon around 7:06 PM. We didn't get any rain with this cell, just some strong winds that knocked over some potted plants. Impressive looking clouds & movement!

@NicholasFerroni I teach 7th grade Family & Consumer Sciences- in one room we have a class set of fabric shears and the other room I rotate to contains mini kitchens. We have pots, pans, and other "tools" for us to use. The students also talk about how they'd move our rolling cabinets...
