A hotel I booked via Airbnb refused to accept a US Passport for identification to check in last night. The desk clerk was incredibly aggressive and rude, causing my daughter to cry. It was late at night with nowhere to go.

The Best Western down the street accepted the US Passport as the VALID IDENTIFICATION that it is. They also told us how many guests they’ve received from the crap place I booked via your platform. I want a refund. Absolutely unacceptable.

@Chase you’ve left my mom, 76 and fighting cancer, with $1.72. Won’t release her social security check because my dad died in FEBRUARY?!? We’ve turned in letters and forms yet you STILL won’t release her money. It’s Christmas. Property taxes due. Heating oil refill was $900.

@Earl_GreyT @DarrenRosenblum @Airbnb @AirbnbHelp I didn’t cancel. Airbnb took 3 days to respond and left my reservation active the entire time. I’ve received proof from host that she authorized FULL refund. Still can’t get a response. I’ve wasted hours.

@AirbnbHelp these stairs were conveniently left out of a listing I booked. My elderly mother couldn’t even access the bathroom or bedroom. I left immediately and messaged host and you. You’re not following your own cancellation policy.

@AirbnbHelp I’ve been messaging you since Friday. I walked into an unsafe Airbnb that was misrepresented on your site. Walked out immediately and submitted photos. Notified host that my elderly mother couldn’t even get to bathroom in that death trap. I want a refund!
