@literaticat Many moms I know with MG age kids are complaining that their kids won’t read anything without pictures so they won’t read any MG only graphic novels or longer picture books.

@StephDRondeau Personally I think times are changing. Parents have to work so much harder to make sure they raise a reader. If they’re always surounded by technology, 9x out of 10 kids will always choose an iPhone/ipad/video games over a book. MG is the age where many kids get a phone.
