The debacle in El Paso this morning was caused by Whiskey Pete Hegseth who wanted to shut down a large swath of airspace so the Army could test a new laser weapons system. But he did not go through proper procedure for the FAA to issue a NOTAM closing the El Paso airspace. So like Hegseth and the Trump Regime always do he concocted a lie that claimed the Army was shooting at a massive drone invasion from Mexican Drug Cartels.

In fact there was no drone invasion. But Whiskey Pete did shoot down a party balloon. I would like for Hegseth or the Trump Regime to just tell the truth for once. But that is not likely to happen anytime soon
