@_ourt Yes they do! Different squid have different chromatophore colors. Some have 1-2 colors, others have a bunch. The sparkly bits are another type of thing, iridophores, which can be the iridescent blue/green/purpley/yellow/red colors. Not all species have as high iridophore density.
This is a *Philly* project. Designed by Philly artist Michele Scott, printed by Fireball Printing in East Kensington, and packed up by me and Michele at Skype a Scientist HQ in Fishtown.

We're able to offer this grant program bc of the generosity of end-of-year donations, & success of the frog facts advent calendar. Thank you to everyone who supports us. I’m excited to see what gets proposed!

I'm excited to announce that for the first time ever, Skype a Scientist is offering mini-grants to support IRL science communication!
Communicating science out in our communities is critical. We want to enable others to get their projects off the ground!

Applications will be open until Feb 14!
This is open to *anyone* who communicates science. Preference to those with some experience in science communication. It's more important that you can communicate science with feelings in mind than be an expert in a specific topic.
