@TransLink is the elevated seat, that is sometimes behind the driver’s seat on the bus, priority seating? There are no signs by it marking it as such. And due to the step required to get up to it I wouldn’t think it was meant for handicap or elderly people.
If you live in the Lower Mainland in BC, Canada, check out these races. They are super fun and great for new and experienced runners.

@COCVancouver Why aren’t they arrested? We do have freedom of speech in Canada but hate speech is illegal. Their leader is in blackface, they’re waving Russian flags, they’re calling LGBTQ+ pedophiles and generally inciting hate. Do the cops not know the law?
@DailyHiveVan I think blaming the customers for not tipping is misdirection. The employers are the ones setting the wages so low that tips are required for their staff’s survival. I hate tipping culture.
“Don’t go out if you can’t tip”? Okay. I don’t.
@CBCNews It’s too bad they’re making the bill more confusing and contentious. Banning everything except conventional hunting rifles is the goal. Any hunting rifle with 2 rounds, no matter calibre, is allowed. Hunting rifles with 3+ rounds should require intensive background checks.
@omaha_runner @1goodtern I’m so sorry it’s lasted this long. I do notice that my heart rate is higher for activities I do all the time and that before, did not leave me winded. I hope it fades after 3mos like last time, but also preparing for it not to.
@crystalmundypsy @cspotweet@bobandthefishes Yeah, I feel like BC is up there too. I’m seeing a constant cycle of people getting sick in my social circles.
@1goodtern I‘m a very active person. I’ve had Covid twice. It took about a month and a half to get over the symptoms the first time (fatigue, muscle weakness). This second time, it’s been three weeks so far and I’m still dealing with shortness of breath. It’s getting better, but slowly.
@GlobalBC Yes! I’ve always hated the name of this province the most. When I first learned it in my Ontario school, I thought this province was like England, particularly devoted to the Queen, and everyone spoke with a British accent. It deserves a better, Indigenous, name.
@TribelSocial@OccupyDemocrats@elonmusk Ditch. Some of us are struggling millennials. I find it ironic that my generation is accused of being financially insolvent because we have too many subscriptions, and then the older generations put more things behind paywalls.
@HedyFry @crystalmundypsy I’m going to try but you doctors need to know that the pharmacists are not on the same page as you and are gatekeeping the vaccines with outdated guidelines.
@DebraJ43 Okay. So even with these facts the pharmacists are still denying my partner his shot. If you call the 1-800# for vaccinations, operators will tell you that you can’t get the bivalent less than 6mos from booster. Despite ImmuniseBC and Bonnie Henry explicitly saying 3mos is fine.
If you got a booster less than 6mos ago. Don’t let the pharmacists turn you away. It’s 3mos recommended between boosters, not 6. The Immunise BC site says as much too.
