At 77 years old, he finally secured a majority stake in the worldwide rights by partnering with his wife Julie and manager Irving Azoff to purchase them from Concord Records. This victory allowed him to own timeless rock anthems like "Proud Mary "and "Fortunate Son" for the very first time in his adult life.
