The Arboricultural Association Conference this year will see the return of our interactive workshop sessions, led by our speakers to bring you closer to the themes at the heart of the conference.

Lotte Dijkstra, PhD researcher from Newcastle University will be providing a workshop on Urban Forest Storytelling: Workshop Intersectional Belonging in Practice.

This workshop is part of ongoing PhD research by Lotte, exploring the relation between senses of belonging and equitable access to urban forests.

We are shocked and desperately saddened to learn that the famous Sycamore Gap tree at Hadrian's Wall has been felled overnight, in what appears to be an act of vandalism.

We know just how much this iconic tree is loved locally, nationally and by everyone who has visited.

We are working with our partners to understand what has happened and what can be done.
