This is a poem I wrote a few years back when I was sick of feeling like an object to men. And it’s still very relevant today so I thought I’d share it for all the women out there that have felt the same. ~No More~
@streetmediatv Now I would never say what she was wearing affected that. But I purposefully wear baggy stuff if I don’t want people looking at me. I look at everyone. It’s a public gym and people watching is fun. Stay safe out there.
@Theholisticpsyc I am a Speech Language Pathologist in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Loving what I do. Graduated summa cum laude. All because someone believed in me even when no one else did or ever had.
@Theholisticpsyc My bio teacher in HS. I wasnt great at school but I loved science. He recommended me for advanced Chem even tho I got an 88 in his class bc he saw that I loved it. He helped tutor me whenever I needed help. I have a masters degree now + am an SLP in an SNF forever thankful
@ninaturner Instead of increasing minimum wage… here me out… FIND WAYS TO REDUCE INFLATION WHICH IS KILLING THE COUNTRY. I get the idea of wanting to help those in poverty but why not focus on the things forcing more and more into poverty!!! Seriously think people THINK
@Coopermaee@SheIsAnon__ I’m a number 5 when in really in a book. It becomes a movie in my head. Even memories and thoughts are visual and sometimes I can get so lost in the book-movie that I hear different and smell different things. Same with my dreams, they are extremely vivid with multiple senses
