I am heartened that The Philadelphia Inquirer printed my letter that concentrated on today’s dangerous, growing epidemic of antisemitism and other evil isms.
I am grateful that Linda Grobman printed what follows. The commentary is not only meant for those in mental health professions. I hope you will find it holds relevance.

I am pleased at this highly dangerous period in the life of our cherished, fragile democracy that the Inquirer included my letter in today’s issue.

I am pleased, in this time of necessary urgent care for our returning veterans, that I was assigned this review. I wish, however, that Dr. Alicia Knox (Virginia Madsen) had been identified as the social worker she obviously was.

His refusal to build consensus for his knee-jerk acts in our country and abroad makes it imperative to come together to do all possible to lawfully stop him.
Thank you so much for your support of my last two posts, conveyed through calls, emails, and online. At this crucial time it is apparent that our 47th president will stop at nothing to imperil our democracy through thoughtless, life-threatening acts.
In this treacherous time, as our rule of law is being steadily dismantled, thank you for your patience as I have tried to share examples of hope and direction from past and present. I see "Wicked: For Good" as a brilliant example of this "wake-up call." https://t.co/cToyYpd1zd
It is privilege to share this brave, reflective op ed in The Boston Globe, in celebration of Robert Kennedy’s 100th birthday, November 20, 2025. It was written by his son Max, three years old when his father was assassinated on his campaign road toward the presidency.
Note Philly star Bill Green, a member of the House and later Philly’s mayor in the AP shot standing proudly. Max’s first post college job was in Philly’s DA office, where is chief concern was the link between poverty and crime and the well-being of our most vulnerable children.
Relatedly, far too many vulnerable children under our care die. If you have interest, please visit my papers at the UPenn Archives for photos and info about them.
I am grateful that The @PhillyInquirer printed this letter. Something is very, very wrong in the decisions relating to this tragic case. Among them, the crime scene was cleaned before a full investigation was possible.
I am very pleased that Linda Grobman assigned The Roses to me. It is not a film for everyone, but it does underline the importance of preserving love wherever it is found.
