MGISW Mind Your Biscuits (Posse) has died at the age of 13 in Japan at Shadai Farm.
βHe was only 13-years-old and still young, and he was producing good offspring, so it's truly regrettable.β

@GloriousAllianc Agree, we have access to an additional almost 40 acres (could easily support 10 to 12 more), but the cost to care for the horses is what stops us from expanding.
@LindaCKBL@Chrissy_Ottb Wait we're suppose to be getting paid? In all honesty we are, so many people think Non-Profits shouldn't be paying their workers or keeping money in the bank. But there is a difference between Employee & Volunteer, and we should have a slush fund to cover unexpected expenses.
@MachmerHall@LindaCKBL@xenaroo11 When George was still alive they did have a contract with the border to ship, which was very scary considering at the time Adina was an Owner & Breeder eith JC privileges. I do not know if they have the contract anymore or if they use a middleman like Triple Crown Ranch to ship.
@Animalsheltrdoc@AirportIslander I think Santa Anita just added a new record category when they went to Poly, and then kept the dirt records until new ones were set when they went back to dirt.
@GloriousAllianc I've been nailed across my femur by Crackhead. He apparently kicks with the force of being hit by a car moving 20mph, which is really scary considering school zones are 20mph here. The Otterbox saved my phone (it was in my pocket and took the full brunt of the kick)
This was so much fun, much thanks to our vet for helping us get the chip numbers.
We also need to get Kit a chip, we couldn't find one on him and given his age (2010) he probably doesnβt have one.
Her older brother Normandy Harp same breeder, was owned by Naoya Yoshida (DVM, Haygard) for his first career start,
Her younger bother Joke Maker (same owner team) was bred by Winchester Farm the Lexington KY operation of Naoya Yoshida
Did some digging and might have an answer on who did what to get her back... one of her now owners owns Winchester Farm, I think they were also a member of her foaling/breeding team
@NotCloudyAllDay It sure was nice to see Coach Albert Lady racing at Belmont at the Big A today, after being in Camarero since she was sold to C.H.P.R in the OBS sale as a 2 yr old in training. Hope this 4 yr old filly stays here. She has new owners since PR so I bet she will! π₯°@GloriousAllianc
@JJHThoroughbred@westlakeracing A prep race shouldn't be the same grade as the end result... at most the races on the trail to the Derby should be G2's knock out some of the early G1's and maybe the actual G1 fields will be bigger

$729.18 later our 3 15" rims and 1 16" rim (we have absolutely no clue what happened, trailer was free to us at Christmas) is now 4 15" rims with new trailer tires.
Dr Lena is coming to see Monster & well everyone but mainly Monster, she is getting updated X-Rays, redoing the ACTH (PPID) and possibly testing for EPM.
Everyone else is just annual stuff (Coggins, Shots)
@Mindy43087085@AprilWheeler5@NotCloudyAllDay Yes, there were a couple that day making their seasonal bows.
Mr Fine Threads (winner, Timber Stakes, Grand National), he also came back a week later and won again.
Paddys Crown (4th, Allowance, Grand National)
Decisive Triumph (2nd, Allowance, Glenwood)
@Mindy43087085@AprilWheeler5@NotCloudyAllDay A local trainer said Arizona doesnβt have a maiden cut off, they do cut off at entries at 12 unless the horse has won in the last year, and do not accept entries under any circumstance for a horse that is 14+
