🧐 We examined the prevalence of sarcopenia using the EWGSOP2 and SDOC consensuses in 838 patients receiving hemodialysis. A weak agreement was found, highlighting the importance of a global and standardized conceptual definition.

🗓️ Patients will be then followed-up for 12 months and sarcopenia will be reassessed. Additional 12 months of follow-up will be conducted for investigating adverse clinical outcomes (#falls, #ospitalization, and #mortality).
