@The_TUC Neither of you are English but the Irish chap is a Briton. The Pakistani guy is a Pakistani raised in England. He’s not English and he doesn’t even have an English accent.
@SuellaBraverman Suella - you are doing an amazing job. Thank God we have ppl with the thick skin required to force these honest conversations. If everything was hunky dory - we wouldn’t need to even talk about this, but we need to draw a line somewhere.
@EmmasLastStand This approach would solve the issue of chain migration and the formation of unintegrated colonies of 3rd foreigners within England.
It’s kind of smart to use this as the starting point for negotiations. Any other leeway given is a gift that can be revoked if abused.
@CheckCharlieB It doesn’t exclude him. He’s English by virtue of his mother. The thing ppl are objecting to is chain migration and colonization of separate communities with no connection or allegiance to Britain.
@implausibleblog This is a natural consequence of ppl from certain groups abusing the hospitality of the Brits: denigrating English culture while applauding their own yet also being pathetically desperate to be English. No wonder the native Britons are fed up and are now drawing this line.
@RBrownhouse@StevenEdginton Unless something drastic happens, I’m also filled with gloom. The deck is stacked against Brits, and despite all this chatter amongst a small group of ppl on twitter, so many Brits are still voting Labour.
