Big Announcement!

In her Budget Statement for FY2026-27, our Finance Minister, Smt. Chandrima Bhattacharya, announced annual financial assistance of ₹4,000 for landless agricultural labourers, to be disbursed in two instalments of ₹2,000 each during the Rabi and Kharif seasons.

She also declared the complete waiver of all fees and charges for irrigation through Government Tubewells and RLI schemes, providing major relief to small and marginal farmers and strengthening agricultural livelihoods across the State.

দেশনায়ক নেতাজি সুভাষ চন্দ্র বস��র জন্মবার্ষিকীতে তাঁকে জানাই আমার অন্তরের শ্রদ্ধা ও প্রণাম।

বাংলা তথা গোটা‌ দেশ তথা সারা বিশ্বের কাছে নেতাজি মানে একটা আবেগ। মানুষ তাঁকে কখনও ভোলেনি, ভুলবেও না।

তিনি জানতেন দেশ মানে শুধু হিন্দু নয়, দেশ মানে শুধু মুসলিম নয় – দেশ মানে পুরুষ, মহিলা, হিন্দু, মুসলমান, শিখ, খ্রিস্টান, পাঞ্জাবি, তামিল, গুজরাটি, বাঙালি সকলে। তাঁর আজাদ হিন্দ ফৌজ ছিল ধর্মনিরপেক্ষতা এবং সৌভ্রাতৃত্বের প্রতীক যেখানে কাঁধে কাঁধ মিলিয়ে দেশের জন্য সংগ্রাম করেছিলেন হিন্দু-মুসলমান, শিখ-খ্রিস্টান, ধনী-দরিদ্র, পুরুষ-মহিলা — সমস্ত জাতি, ধর্ম, বর্ণ, সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষ।

যদি আমরা নেতাজিকে প্রকৃত অর্থে সম্মান করতে চাই, তাহলে আমাদের সবার কর্তব্য তাঁর ঐক্য, ভ্রাতৃত্ব, সম্প্রীতির আদর্শকে অনুসরণ করা। বর্ণ, ধর্ম, লিঙ্গ নির্বিশেষে আমরা সবাই ভারতীয় – এই আমাদের পরিচয়।

আমাদের সরকার তাঁর স্মৃতির প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়ে একাধিক পদক্ষেপ করেছে। আলিপুর মিউজিয়ামে নেতাজী জেলের যে কুঠুরিতে থাকতেন সেটাকে restore করে জনসাধারণের দেখার জন্য খুলে দেওয়া, নেতাজি সুভাষচন্দ্র বসুর উপর প্রদর্শনী করা, তাঁর লেখা ‘তরুণের স্বপ্ন’ ব��টি বিভিন্ন ভাষায় অনুবাদ করা সহ অনেককিছুই করা হয়েছে ও হচ্ছে। এ প্রসঙ্গে বলি, নেতাজিকে শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়ে আমরা 'তরুণের স্বপ্ন' নামে একটি প্রকল্পও চালু করেছি যাতে রাজ্য সরকার সরকারি স্কুলের একাদশ শ্রেণির ছাত্রছাত্রীদের পড়াশোনার সুবিধার জন্য মোবাইল/ ট্যাব কেনার জন্য ১০,০০০ টাকা করে দেয়।

এটা আমাদের সবার দুর্ভাগ্য, নেতাজির অন্তর্ধান রহস্যের কিনারা আজও হয়নি৷ ১৯৪৫ সালের পর তাঁর কী হয়েছিল তা আমরা জানি না। এটা সবার জন্য বড় দুঃখের। আমরা কিন্তু অনেক আগেই রাজ্যের সমস্ত ফাইল প্রকাশ্যে এনেছি৷ আমি ভারত সরকারের কাছে আবার আবেদন করব নেতাজি সম্পর্কিত সব তথ্য declassify করার জন্য।

The death toll keeps mounting. Another BLO appointed and engaged by the @ECISVEEP has taken his own life under the inhuman pressure of a HURRIED, CHAOTIC and POLITICALLY-MOTIVATED SIR process. Shri Haradhan Mondal of 249 Ranibandh AC, Part No. 206, died by suicide. In his suicide note, he explicitly held inhuman nature of the task responsible for his decision.

Over 50 lives have already been lost to panic, anxiety, exhaustion and fear engineered by a voter-cleansing operation designed for BJP’s electoral gain.

What should have been a methodical process has instead been bulldozed through by a pliant, complicit Election Commission, bending its spine to serve the political arithmetic of ONE PARTY and the ego of ONE MAN.

And as for the BJP, if people drop dead from fatigue, despair or terror, it is an acceptable collateral cost, a convenient footnote in their power play.

History is watching. Bengal will not forgive and Bengal will not forget.

Right-wing forces, emboldened by power, are openly attacking Dalits, STs and minorities - through fear, lynching, threats and hate, all under the garb of religion.

When those in power are the perpetrators and reward the protectors of this violence, impunity becomes policy. This is not governance; this is moral collapse.

These attacks are unconstitutional, illegal and tear apart the very foundation of India- our UNITY in DIVERSITY.

Bengal gave India Netaji’s uncompromising nationalism, Vivekananda’s universal humanism, Raja Ram Mohan Roy’s social reform, Tagore’s global conscience, and Rishi Bankim's timeless, immortal verse. Bengal gave the country the idea of freedom, reform, resistance, and renaissance

And today, a band of culturally bankrupt, historically clueless gatecrashers dare to lecture Bengal? They vandalise our icons, misquote our thinkers, butcher our language, and then ask for our votes, while displaying open contempt for everything Bengal stands for.

A Party that disrespects Bengal’s history has no moral right to seek Bengal’s future.
