And online TRP don't gurantee the long running of a show, only offline does😔

@Love_ishqaan @isalilsand @cik_eva TRP is counted through TRP meters/Peoples meter which is installed in our setup box by BARC company (company which calculates TRP). If u don't have this installed, then no matter how much u watch the show on TV, it adds nothing to the TRP.

@MrsDevDixit But it's also a fact that this outdated system is the only option for advertisers to choose their shows on which they will run their ads. So it's a direct relation. More TRP = More advertisers = more money to run the show.

@Love_ishqaan @isalilsand @cik_eva Because it's the only parameter, rather I should say OFFICIAL parameter. Show runs becoz of money paid by advertisers. Advertisers need to check which show is on top, so more people will see their adds. Here TRP becomes the only option for them!

@Love_ishqaan @isalilsand @cik_eva To increase the TRP of a show. Only those houses must watch it in TV who have TRP meter installed. All others watching won't add anything, it doesn't matter if others watch it online or on TV, it never contributes.

@Love_ishqaan @isalilsand @cik_eva How to get TRP meter? Well u can't just buy it! It is installed by BARC company in selected areas around the country ( 44,000 houses). They monitor what that house watches, and pay some percentage of their monthly TV bill in return. This is how they measure TRP.
