@TheNewsAgents @maitlis @jonsopel @lewis_goodall He’s obviously repeating the Trump playbook: immigrants eating cats and dogs, critics have ‘Farage (Trump) derangement syndrome’, threatening DOGE cuts to local councils, etc, etc. UK media need to call it out for what it is, rather than further amplifying the Trump playbook.

Blaming asylum seekers for expensive food shops? What about the £3,100,000,000 profit Tesco made last year?
