Hey! It's me, Goku!
I see you locked your doors this time!
That doesn't change the fact that it's Thursday and you need to face it head on, too.
You may not notice it, but you're definitely stronger than yesterday, so don't give up!
@FitMarshmellow You wouldn't be able to make bold decisions in one story without worrying about how that would affect the other. It's the kind of thing that led to silver and bronze age Superman feeling so lifeless to me.
@FitMarshmellow The ove thing I don't love is having ongoing Superman and Superboy comics at the same time. That feels wrong to me. It's like if Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z were coming out at the same time and had to try and fit with each other.
@CaseyTheVA@CarrieKeranen@_TheVSIGroup@netflix No shade to any other performers, but your voice acting made Shinji so real for me. I've always empathized with his struggle and your performance made that come to life.
@Atom4087 Other times, it felt like the creative decisions would lead to the least interesting version of a story. They remember that orange kryptonite makes you do the macarena and that lead pipes block kryptonite, and do a story asking why Superman did the macarena around lead pipes.
@Atom4087 There's this sense in DC of having great continuity in terms of lore, but very little ongoing storylines or meaningful character interactions. Some of it is great! I love the private life of Clark Kent. There's a story where he has to outwit a mynah bird who knows his identity.
