@wingheart I always felt like so many people wanted something from him usually money. It rarely seemed rooted in genuine love. Too many relationships felt transactional even with people he considered family. Hopefully he has the peace now, he craved when he was alive.

@wingheart I never stopped listening to his music. What made it especially painful was seeing celebrities at his funeral who never publicly supported him while he was alive calling him a legend after he died felt incredibly hollow. Support matters when someone is still here! So disgusting!

@wingheart The way people are defending him now years after his death. He deserved the same love, care, and attention when he was alive. He was dragged through the mud for being who he was, it suck’s that celebrities with power did not come out openly in support of him when he was alive!

@wingheart Yes for sure! I’ve loved him since I was a baby a 1 year old child. I turned 40 this year. Growing up in Pakistan I always listened to him, defended him, watched every award show, every movie, every interview and cannot understand for the life of me why no one defended him then.
