@MattLismore @lbbdcouncil @CllrDRodwell Yup! Dog Unit… it’s been going on for more years than I care to remember. Disgraceful that cruelty to animals is supported and encouraged by @lbbdcouncil. The dogs are locked into small car boots for hours on end. May as well just use a bark machine.

@MattLismore I also have photos and videos of dogs locked up in car boots in Barking. It’s unbelievably cruel, upsetting for witnesses, and should not be supported. Also, what is the point of a dog unit if they patrol without them, @lbbdcouncil & @CllrDRodwell?

Let there be life! Pleased to report my experiment to find a cheap way to naturalise hard river edges in urban areas appears to be successful. Last winter I coppiced long willow branches, put them in hessian bags of silt & dropped them into the Roding; many trees are now growing

The only beautiful thing in our communal garden was this lush, green tree. A haven for wild birds, due to my bird feeders & birdbath. The blossom in springtime is stunning. I am shocked & upset to have just found its beauty destroyed by @lbbdcouncil. Why do this? #saveourtrees

@lbbdcouncil @CllrDRodwell @DarrenRodwell I will DM you, thank you. After standing in the garden to protect the remaining trees for over an hour, I have now been assured by a senior employee of the council, that they will not be ‘trimmed’.

Why has #lbbd spoilt this beautiful tree, @CllrDRodwell? It wasn’t in anyone’s way. It looks like it has been trimmed by a five-year-old. It’s all we had left in our garden, after @lbbdcouncil took all the hedges. Now look at it. 🤦🏽‍♀️
