This is a picture of a bunch of cucumber plants that I saw at Disney World’s Living with the Land! The cucumber plants are showing thigmotropism by climbing up the line and spreading its leaves across the trellis to photosynthesize. #drfoxcall

This is a a sweet onion! Sweet onions are known for their sweeter and less pungent taste compared to other onion varieties. Onions grow as true bulbs. They are biennials but are also more commonly grown as annuals. Growth occurs from the basal plate of the bulb. #drfoxcall

This is my fiddle leaf fig that is unfortunately not doing too well! It is currently suffering from brown spots. This is caused by a fungal infection in the roots because of too much moisture. These plants typically do better in a greenhouse setting. #drfoxcall

These are poppy seeds from an everything bagel! The scientific name is “Papaver somniferum” and these seeds comes from the opium poppy plant. This plant is native in Eurasia and, when dried, they are used to make a variety of different pastries and baked goods. #drfoxcall
